They are added to the gas in the lamp. That\u2019s the reason why their service live is increased and that\u2019s why they are more efficient. \u00a0A halogen lamp is an efficient bulb . They have an average lifetime of 2000 hours .<\/p>\n

The halogens in the lamp makes sure the lamp isn\u2019t turning black anymore, they stay bright.<\/p>\n

All halogen lamps are dimmable !<\/p>\n

Please note: when placing the bulbs you should NOT touch the glass of the bulb. The fingerprints can burn the halogen lamp.
